About Nicole Chatham

Nicole Chatham
Makeup Artist
"Born and raised in Gwinnett County, Georgia, I attended the University of Georgia as a Consumer Journalism major with a focus in Public Relations, where I graduated with my BS in 2010. While a student, I worked as a banquet server at The Foundry Inn & Spa where I developed a desire to work one-on-one with brides. I learned the importance of detail as I worked alongside the wedding planners on property, ensuring ultimate satisfaction both beforehand and on the day of the event. My love for makeup came while working at one of Georgia's most elite salon groups, Salon 124. At this time, I was also a cosmetology student, and would watch brides come and go from trials and day of appointments wishing I were the stylist behind the chair instead of the receptionist behind the front desk.

This past year, I competed in Miss Lawrenceville Georgia, Miss Walton County and Miss Gwinnett Christian. As God would have it, the judges saw my potential and crowned me their queen. It's my desire to use my crowns to empower, educate and encourage inner beauty in young women.  I can only hope to give back to pageant world, as I feel it has given so much to me!

I adore working with people and getting to know a new face. I'm friendly and easy to talk to, as well as open to giving advice on how to bring out the beautiful in YOU.. I love the power behind makeup. I truly believe in enhancing natural features and bringing out the true beauty and confidence in every women. What I love and enjoy most about my job is being apart of an extremely special, memorable day in a women's life. I love seeing the smiles and the overwhelming feeling of confidence knowing she looks and feels her absolute best!

2012 holds many promises for myself both personally and professionally. Personally, I will compete in Georgia National Miss this upcoming April, as well as run my first half-marathon. Professionally, calling myself blessed would be an immense understatement. My freelance makeup business, Makeup by Nicole, has boomed! I am continuously booking clients in the pageant and wedding markets and things don't seem to be slowing down. Glory be to God! I can only pray He continues to bless me with the opportunity to minister to women in the Atlanta area through makeup." -Nicole Chatham
